Winter is definitely my favorite season of the year. The temperature is lower, the holidays are the best, there is more family time and the fashion and trends are amazing.
I love styling my wardrobe and my outfits for winter, but the problem is that here in Miami the temperature doesn’t get THAT cold for those awesome trends that we see all over the country and Europe, not even for some simple scarves, tights, boots or jackets… so we have to make the best of it and adapt the trends that we love for a more tropical type of weather. The good thing about it though, is that we can totally get away with light and bright colors during the season.
One of my favorite Winter trends are the bomber jackets. They are comfortable, warm and super stylish. You can find them in a huge array of patterns and prints that will make you want them all!
This particular Bomber Jacket is from a cute store called My True Joy, I saw it and immediately fell in love with it. I paired it with a super cute denim romper from Blank NYC with a white cotton tee from ONNO under it – which is also very on trend – and finished the look with my favorite combat boots from Aldo, which I’ve been also getting away with wearing all season long.

El invierno es definitivamente mi estación favorita del año. La temperatura es más baja, son las mejores fiestas y celebraciones, hay más tiempo en familia y las tendencias son espectaculares.
Amo combinar y crear looks para el invierno, pero el problema es que aquí en Miami la temperatura no baja lo suficiente como para utilizar esas tendencias tan increíbles que vemos en el resto del país y en Europa, ni siquiera para utilizar unas simples bufandas, medias, botas o chaquetas… entonces tenemos que hacer lo mejor que podemos y adaptar esas tendencias que amamos a un clima un poco más tropical. Aunque lo bueno es que si podemos seguir utilizando colores claros y brillantes durante la temporada «fría».
Una de mis tendencias favoritas de esta temporada son las Bomber Jackets. Son cómodas, abrigadas y tienen demasiado estilo. Las puedes encontrar en una gran variedad de estilos y estampados y vas a querer tenerlas todas!
Esta chaqueta bomber en particular es de una tienda bella llamada My True Joy, la vi y me enamoré! La combiné con una braga de jean de Blank NYC con una franela blanca de ONNO abajo – otra tendencia muy importante de la temporada – y terminé el look con mis botas favoritas de Aldo, las cuales he aprovechado en usar muchísimo toda la temporada.
