For those of you who already know me, you know that I have a bit of an eclectic taste, where I mix pieces of different styles to create a cohesive look (sometimes not even that cohesive haha).
I’m not a woman who is going to dress super feminine, not because it’s not pretty, but because it doesn’t really go with my style. I designed this skirt for a specific occasion and I hand’t worn it again after that because I didn’t really know what to pair it with. I stood in front of my closet several times with the skirt on my hand trying to figure out what to pair this skirt with, and I just ended up wearing something completely different because I couldn’t find something that I would feel comfortable wearing.
I bought this tank top on LF’s super sale, which I talked about here and I started playing a bit with the look; first tucking it into the skirt, then wearing it outside of the skirt and finally tying a little knot on the side, which I loved. But there was something missing, something that would harmonize the entire look, so I went into my jewelry and remembered this Express necklace. I loved the combination of fuchsia, turquoise and white. Finally, the Ted Baker shoes tie everything together.
