Bacardí – Hielo – Limón – Coca Cola

El fin de semana fuimos a conocer la destilería de Bacardí. En un principio no estaba muy segura de que me fuese a gustar el plan porque no tomo ron puro y pensé que tendríamos que catar la bebida. Pero, cuando llegamos al lugar nos dimos cuenta que te ofrecían varias opciones de tours que podías hacer, y entre ellas ofrecían un tour de mixología. Te hablaban un poco sobre la historia de la destilería, te mostraban lugares claves de la producción del ron y luego te enseñaban a preparar varios tragos divertidos. Claramente ese fue el tour que a mi y a mi hermano nos llamó la atención.

Nos enseñaron primero a preparar la bebida de ron más clásica, el Cuba Libre. Este era el que menos me emocionaba porque a este trago es al que más se le siente el ron; pero, para mi sorpresa, me quedó delicioso. Luego preparamos un daiquirí y terminamos con un mojito. Yo felíz porque estos dos tragos si me encantan.

Aproveché de tomarme unas foticos en las bellas instalaciones de la destilería mientras esperábamos a que mi papá terminara con su tour. Use un look muy simple de t-shirt y jeans porque no sabía que esperar del lugar y quería estar cómoda.

This past weekend we went to the Bacardía distillery. At first, I wasn’t so sure that I would like this plan because I don’t drink pure rum and I thought that we would have to do a tasting of the drink. But when we arrived at the place, we saw that they offered several options of tours that you could do, and one of them was a mixology tour. They told you a bit about the history of the distillery, showed you around some of the key places of the production of the rum and then they tought us how to prepare some fun drinks. Clearly, this was the tour that my brother and I decided to take.

They showed us first how to prepare the classic Cuba Libre, which I wasn’t so excited about because it’s the drink that most tastes like rum. But to my surprise, it was delicious. Then we prepared a daiquiri and we ended with a mojito. I was happy because I do love these two last drinks.

I took some pictures in the beautiful grounds of the distillery while we waited for my dad to come out of his tour. I wore a very simple look of a t-shirt and jeans because I wasn’t sure what to expect of the place and I wanted to be comfortable.
