One of the few negative things about cold weather is chapped lips, it is really one of the worst feelings. The burning sensation and the flaking and peeling of the lips are not pleasant and we can’t really wear lipstick because it doesn’t look very good.
But here is the solution! The combination of these two products is magical and it will make those horrible flakes and the burning of your chapped lips go away.
The first step is to apply Fresh’s Sugar Lip Polish, which is a sugar exfoliant for your lips. You apply it to your lips, rub it with your fingers for a while, until you feel the flakes disappear and then you rinse it out with water. Another exfoliant that also works is Lush’s Bubble Gum Lip Scrub.
The second step is to apply Elizabeth Arden’s Eigh Hour Cream. This petrolatum and vitamin E cream hydrates and soothes your lips, among other things (I would have to do a complete post on this cream because it is like the Windex for the father in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you can use it for almost anything!)
I do this combination almost every night as part of my skin care routine. The Eight Hour Cream lives in my night stand and I apply it every morning when I wake up and every night before I go to bed.
