No sabía cocinar nada.

This post is a bit different to what I’m used to. I wanted to share with you an aspect of my life that you may not know about, and that is that I love to cook.
You know when they tell you that you don’t even know how to fry an egg? Well, that was me about three years ago. I had no idea how to cook anything. When I moved to the US I had no choice but to learn how to cook because eating out was way to expensive. Now I know how to fry an egg and so much more and you have no idea how much I love it! This is why I decided to incorporate a new section to my blog, a food a cooking section.
I have to disclaim that I’m in no way a chef; I cook because I like it and because it relaxes me for some reason, and there’s the plus side that I tend to like the food that I cook. I’m not going to show you recipes because the truth is that I don’t have any of my own. I normally follow other people’s recipes (Scannone is my cooking bible – he is a Venezuelan cook) and I adjust them to my convenience or taste.

Even though I don’t limit myself when it comes to foods, I normally like and prefer to eat healthy foods. This time I decided to follow Sascha Barboza’s (Sascha Fitness – a Venezuelan fitness and nutrition coach) chicken stuffed pepper recipe. I bought her book on Amazon a while back and you have no idea how much use I get out of it because the recipes are exquisite and very healthy.
The only thing that I added to the original recipe was a little bit of mozarella cheese on top to create a cheese topping that melts in an spectacular way when baking it.
