Last weekend I visited and aunt and cousin in Washington, DC. I hadn’t had any vacations in a while so it was nice to take some days off, which I really needed. On Saturday we visited Georgetown, which is a beautiful Washington neighborhood that has some shops and nice restaurants.
Since it was really hot I decided to keep my outfit fresh and comfortable, and what is more comfortable than a maxi skirt and sandals? I love combining feminine pieces with more edgy pieces, so that is why I paired my pastel pink maxi skirt with a jean shirt and belt with metallic studs.
I felt like an annoying blogger taking pictures of my food, but I just had to show you the exquisite mussels I had for lunch at the waterfront of the Potomac river.
