It’s graduation time and with it comes the big question of what to wear. Women (including me) always think that they don’t have anything to wear, and we also never know what to wear for certain occasions.
For ideas on what to wear I always go to two sources: I ask a friend what she is wearing so I have a reference on what I could wear, and/or I search for ideas and inspirations online. For this reason I thought of doing a series of two posts on ideas of what to wear for graduations with two looks that I actually wore for two graduations that I had a couple of weekends ago.
This look is perfect for a formal or fancy graduation. I don’t like to wear tight dresses because I prefer to be comfortable so I can enjoy the party. This is why a dress with an A skirt, a little above the knee and with a flowy fabric like chiffon is perfect. The design and the details of the dress are also important because they make the dress unique and special.
Even though I didn’t add any accessories, I could have completed the look with a gold cuff bracelet. If the dress has too many details you don’t need to add so many accessories because it may look overloaded. Choose one accessorie that goes with the dress to complete the look and that’s it. I also kept the shoes very simple so the focus would be on the dress.
