Never say that you’re never going to wear something or that you’re never going to be able to pull of a certain trend, because the reality is that eventually you’ll wear that piece of clothing or cave into the so called trend… and, if you stay true to your style, you’ll look great in it!

I would love to meet the person who decided that the 90’s were back, the first person who decided that chokers were the new statement necklace or the one who put on a pair of overalls again and loved it. I honestly thought that I would never wear overalls again, not because I didn’t like them, but because I think of them as litlle kid’s clothes.

I was a little hesitant of wearing them again because I thought that they wouldn’t look good on me, but after pairing them with a parir of Timberland boots and a crepe blouse from Banana Republic, they didn’t resemble child’s clothing to me anymore. I adapted them to my style and «made it work.»

Another one of this 90’s trend that I’m loving is wearing backpacks as purses! I think it’s so comfortable and practical, and you can find so many beautiful ones like this one from Urban Outfitters.

Nunca digas que nunca vas a usar tal camisa or que nunca vas a poder llevar una tendencia porque la realidad es que eventualmente usaras la camisa y te rendirás ante la llamada tendencia… y, si lo haces a tu estilo, te verás espectacular!

Me encantaría conocer a la persona que decidió que los 90 estaban de vuelta. La primera persona que decidió que las gargantillas eran el collar del momento o la que se puso de nuevo unas bragas y lo amó. Honestamente pensé que más nunca iba a utilizar bragas otra vez, no porque no me gustaran pero porque las veía como ropa para niños.

Estaba un poco dudosa de utilizarlas de nuevo porque la verdad es que pensé que no se me verían bien. Pero después de utilizarlas con mis botas de Timberland y mi camisa de crepé de Banana Republic, me pareció que ya no se veían tan de niñita. Las adapté a mi estilo he hice que funcionaran.

Otra tendencia noventosa que me está encantando es la de utilizar bultos o mochilas como cartera! Me parece tan cómodo y práctico, además de que puedes encontrar unos espectaculares como éste de Urban Outfitters.
