Last Sunday was a bit of a different Sunday because I was invited by The Creatives Loft to spend an amazing afternoon making beautiful flower crowns, drinking natural juices and eating yummy desserts.
The event was held in a new area in Wynwood called Wynwood Block, which was spectacularly decorated with vintage furniture, tables with desserts and a long table full of flowers and plants of every color and type. There also was an area where you could get your hair and makeup done if you wanted to. It was a very nice and delicate environment where the combination of the flower’s escena and girls with bohemian dresses and flower clowns on their heads made it feel a bit surreal (in a very good way).
Let me tell you that making the flower crown wasn’t an easy job; it takes effort, time and dedication. First we had to gather all the flowers that we wanted to decorate the clown with and then we had to start playing them little by little with a special tape on top of a wire and repeat those steps until we reached the end of the wire. I took more time than I expected but I loved the end result.
I am so thankful to Adriana for inviting me to this event and I can’t wait to attend more events by The Creatives Loft.
